Q: What are your hours?

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday - Wednesday: 11am - 8pm
  • Thursday - Saturday: 11am - 10pm
  • Sunday: Noon  - 5pm

Q: Are you a library? Can I take a book off the shelf and read it in the store?

  • We are not a library, we are an independent bookstore. All of our books are for purchase. We hope you'll come in and purchase a book, hang out and read it here. 

Q: Can I bring my dog in?

  • We love animals, but unfortunately, we do not allow pets in the shop. Only service dogs are allowed inside the store. You are responsible for controlling your dog at all times.

Q: Can my book club meet at the bookshop?

  • Yes! Our seating area is perfect for book clubs of 5-8 people. Please email us at to reserve our seating area. There is no fee to reserve the seating area, but we do ask for a 1.5hr notice before your meeting time for any cancellations and that you purchase food/beverage while you are here. 

Q: I want to order multiple copies of a book, will you have them in stock?

  • Unless it's a popular new release, we probably will not have more than 2 copies of a title. If you have a large order and would like to order from us, please fill out this form and we will get in touch with you.

Q: I have a question for you, what's the best way to get in touch with you?

  • We have a phone number, but if we're busy helping customers we probably won't answer it. The best way to get in touch is to email us at We'll do our best to get back to you within 48hrs.

Q: I am an author, can you carry my book or host an event for me?

  • We are a new small shop with only a team of two. At this time we are not hosting author events. As for carrying your book, we would like to support as many authors as we can in our limited space but receive several requests a week. Traditionally published authors who would like us to carry their book in-store should have their rep contact us about their book or email us directly with a link to the book so we can review it. Self-published authors can email us with a link to their book as well for review. Please do not provide unsolicited review copies, walk-in or cold-call us to discuss your book without an appointment, as when our doors are open, we’re focused on helping customers, pricing and shelving books, and doing all of the other day-to-day activities that keep the doors open.

Q: Where do I park?

  • There are a couple of options. Street parking is free in the residential neighborhood in areas that indicate 2-hr parking. The closest metered spots are on Spring Street or, there is a pay-by-phone lot on Rutledge between Spring and Cannon.  The closest parking garage is at Hyatt Place on the corner of Spring & King.
